(1) The earth’s velocity varies depending upon its position on the orbit around the sub.


(2) The sun appears to move in the sky on its eliptic because the earth revolves around the sun and the plane of its orbit is called eliptic and so the sun is on eliptic as well.


(3) The dates of equinox change every year because earth takes 365.25 days to complete a revolution. Equinox dates lie between 19th to 21st March.


(4) North Canada experiences summer from June to September.


(5) Australia witnesses summers in the month of Dec to Feb while South Africa has them from Oct to Feb.


(6) Duration of day and night are same on the vernal and autumnal equinoxes.
