Hey,
Thus there exists a symbiotic relationship between the Rhizobium and leguminous plants. Peas, beans etc. are leguminous plants or legumes which are plants which have root nodules. rhizobium converts nitrogen present in the air and surroundings into liquid form and gives it to plants so they can utilise it properly.
