You are given a mixture of sand,water and mustard oil.How will you separate the components of this mixture?Explain with the help of different separation techniques involved in it.

Separate sand by sedimentation. The pour water and oil into an another container. Now boil the mixure, water will evaporate, and you'll have oil left.

this can be separated by sedimentation and decantation procedure .When all are poured together,the mustard oil floats on water,sand sinks inside the water .Thus ,all of them will get separated.
