Given :-

  • Ria's father is 50 years old.

  • He is 4 years older than 2 times Ria's age

To Find :-

  • Ria's Age.

Solution :-

Let Ria's Age be = x years

According To Question

Ria's Father is 4 years older than 2 times Ria's age and Ria's father is 50 years old.

Therefore,

:\longmapsto \rm 2x + 4 = 50 \\

:\longmapsto \rm 2x = 50 - 4 \\

:\longmapsto \rm 2x = 46 \\

:\longmapsto \rm x =  \cancel \frac{46}{2}  \\

\purple{ \large :\longmapsto  \underline {\boxed{{\bf x=23} }}} \\

Hence,

\Large\underline{\pink{\underline{\frak{\pmb{Ria's  \:  \text{A}ge  = 23\:\text years }}}}}

 \frak{Let  \: us  \: assume \:  Ria's  \: age \:  be \:  \boxed{ \frak{ \green{ a}}}}

According to the question, we know that

 \frak{Father \:  is  \:  \boxed{ \purple{ \frak{4 \:  years  \: older \:  than  \: 2 \:  times \:  her  \: age \:  as  \: well  \: as \: 50 \:  years  \: old}}} }

Hence, our equation is :

 \twoheadrightarrow \frak{2a + 4 = 50}

 \twoheadrightarrow \frak{2a = 50 - 4}

 \twoheadrightarrow \frak{2a  = 46}

  \twoheadrightarrow \frak{a =  \frac{46}{2} }

  \star \:   \underline{\boxed{\frak{ \pink{a = 23}}}}
