Bell is a thing made up of metal which produces sound. Bells can be found in religious places like churches and temples. They are in such places because the sound produced by them is referred as auspicious sound.

“I can speak with my hard metal tongue”, this statement says that bells speak with their metal tongue. You would be wondering that how a bell could have a tongue !? but, the thing inside the bell which when gets hit on the walls of bell produces sound is known as the tongue of the bell. It is referred as "metal tongue" because, the bell is made up of metal so, obviously, the tongue would be made up of metal. They speak with it means the sound produced. But the tongue which living things have and the bells have are totally different.

Bells are non living things, so they can't breathe. They even don't have lungs.
