rishi has rs. 100 ( 2×50)
let the amount of money subodh has be x
so ,
1/2× x -5= 100
x /2 = 100 + 5
x/2 =105
x = 105 ×2
x= 210

subodh has rs. 210

Answer:

Amount of money Apoorva has = Rs. 50

Amount of money Rishi has = Rs. 100

Amount of money Subodh has = Rs. 210

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The amount of money Apoorva has = Rs. 50

The amount of money Rishi has = Twice the amount of money Apoorva has, but Rs. 5 less than half as much money as Subodh has

Find:

Amount of money Rishi has = ?

Amount of money Subodh has = ?

Solution:

Let the amount of money Subodh has = x

The amount of money Rishi has = 2 × amount of money Apoorva has

                                              = 2 \times 50

                                              = 100

Therefore, Rishi has Rs. 100

Given that Rishi has Rs. 5 less than half as much money as Subodh has. That is,

100 = \frac{x}{2} -5

\frac{x}{2} = 100+5

\frac{x}{2} = 105

x = 105 \times 2

x = 210

Therefore, Subodh has Rs. 210
