Total length of lace = 20m

tables dimensions (length and breadth)

= 1m, 50 cm = 1m, 0.5 m

perimeter for the table (rectangular table)

= 2(length + breadth)

= 2(1 + 0.5)

= 3m

so 3m is the required length of lace for 1 table

Therefore lace required for 5 table will be

= 5 × 3

= 15 m

Hence Rita used 15m of lace for 5 tables.

And 5 meter lace is left.

hope it helps!!!!
