Distance travelled  towards east is represented with positive integer so it should be 20Km

As west is opposite to east so distance in the direction of west will be represented by negative integer so distance along west is −30Km

Final position will be net displacement =20+(−30)=−10Km, as it is negative so it shows that finally Rita is in west to its initial position.

According to the no. line Rita moves towards east is represented by positive and west is represented by negative integer

Distance fro A to B = 20 Km

Distance from B to C = 30 km

Distance from A to C = 20-3020−30

Rita is at final position from A to C is = -10\ Km−10 Km
