Rita had Rs.300. She spent 1/3 of her money on notebooks and 1/4 of the remaining on stationery items. How much money is left with her? *

so like

Let the total money she had be 300 dollars as mentioned.

1/3 of her money then becomes 100 dollars (300*1/3), which she spends on notebooks.

The remaining money is 200 dollars. (300–100)

She spends 1/4th of the remainder, (200 dollars) which is 1/4*200= 50 dollars, on Stationery.

So the money left with her is, 150 dollars. (or 50% of what she had, which is 300$). Hope this helps.
