Let the 2525 children be given ′y′′y′ sweets each.

Let the2828 children be given ′z′′z′ sweets each.

This implies,x=25y+8x=25y+8

x=28z+22x=28z+22

y,zy,z belong to Natural numbers.

This also implies y>zy>z.

And, 14∗(2z+1)=25y14∗(2z+1)=25y

This is possible if y=14y=14 and 2z+1=252z+1=25

Therefore, y=14,z=12y=14,z=12

So, the total no. of sweets is 358358.
