Ritika is eating food hanging upside down. Will the food go through the alimentary canal? Why/ Why not?

if she is standing upside down then the food will not pass through alimentary canal even if she swallowed it because it will require force to move up,but if she stood straight then the food will go straight down the alimentary canal.eating upside down will cause her vomiting and stomach paining.

The food will go through the alimentalimentary canal because our alimentary canal undergo a process or a movement called peristalsis,in which the walls continuously move to pass the food downwards. But the process will be slow.
