Let Ritu's mother's age be 6x

After 5 years Ritu's age will be 1/3 of her mother's age.

x+5=1/3*6x

x+5=2x

x-2x=-5

-x=-5

x=5

Thus Ritu's age is 5 years and her mother's age is 6*5=30
