Yamuna is located in new Delhi near Agra.
It crosses several states, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, passing by Uttarakhand and later Delhi, and meets its tributaries on the way.
Most importantly it creates the highly fertile alluvial, Yamuna-Ganges Doab region between itself and the Ganges in the Indo-Gangetic plain.

"Yamuna" is the ONLY river near Delhi with a depth of more than 10 feet.
River Yamuna is the longest and second largest tributary river of Ganga. It originates from Yamunotri. In Delhi, it passes through Wazirabad. It has 15 drains between Wazirabad barrage and Okhla barrage.
