riya purchasrd a fridge for Rs 28500 including VAT. If the marked price of the fridge is Rs 26000,find the rate of VAT .

Price of fridge with vat = rs. 28500
market price of fridge = rs 26000

vat = price with Vat - Market price
= 28500 - 26000
= Rs.1500
VAT RATE = vat /Market rice × 100
= 1500/ 26000 × 100
= 5.76 or approx 6 %...
