Answer:

Neha paid seema Rs.440

Step-by-step explanation:

In this Question,

We have been given that

Riya sold an article to Seema in Rs 400 on which she earns a profit of 20%

Then,Seema sells to Neha at a profit of 10%

We have to find the amount Neha paid to Seema

According to the Question,

Selling Price of Riya=Cost Price of Seema=400Rs.

Similarly Selling price of Seema=Cost price of Neha   ....(i)

So,formula for selling price is\frac{100+profit\%}{100}\times Cost\ price

Selling price of Seema=\frac{100+10}{100}\times 400

Selling price of Seema=\frac{110}{100}\times 400

Selling price of Seema=440Rs.

As we have seen in Equation(i) Selling price of Seema=Cost price of Neha

Therefore Neha paid rs.440 to Seema
