Almost all the contraceptive pills available in the market are made up of steroid hormones.These pills mostly contain female sex hormones oestrogen and progesterone which prevent ovulation & development of eggs by inhibiting FSH(Follicle Stimulating Hormone)secretion.
Advantages:The pills are almost 100% reliable if used properly.
