since price of 1 notebool is rs 29
so, total money spent on notebooks are Rs. 29x
Similarly,
Let number of pens bought be y
since price of 1 pen is rs 19
so, total money spent on pens is 19y
Since total money spent on notebooks and pens is Rs 298
Hence, 29x+19y=298
Also x and y can be natural numbers only so
x=7 and y=5
since price of 1 notebool is rs 29
so, total money spent on notebooks are Rs. 29x
