Sub: Problems by roadside vendors on pavements – Regarding
Sir
This is to bring to your notice that it has become impossible for us residents of Rainbow Colony to walk on the pavements. This is because roadside vendors have taken up this space for themselves on both sides of the road and spread out their wares such that there is very little walking space. Elders find it really difficult to walk because it is not easy for them to balance avoiding stamping on the stuff. You can imagine the pain they are put to if they have to walk on the road.
I request you to look into this issue and help us out by getting them to relocate. If that is not possible, it would be good if they can occupy just one of the pavements instead of both.
Looking forward to your assistance at the earliest.
Thanking You
Regards

Respected Sir,
Through your esteemed newspaper I want to draw attention of concerned authorities towards problem of encroachment of footpaths. I am Presidenr of RWA- Sagarpur and fighting with problem for last two year's.
This problem is growing rapidly in all parts of the city . one can see vendors and hawkers on footpaths especially near metro stations, bus stand and market areas. This compels the pedestrians to move on the roads. Roads are already congested. During office hours this creates a big problem. It slows down the speed of traffic and sometimes causes jams. Many accident also happen due to this.
There are many reports that these encroaches bribe the beat constable and employees of Municipal corporations. In market areas, they also pay shop owners to lay their articles in that of shops . This nexus makes them fearless. But main sufferers is the common man,who can't fight with them.
We have written many letters to the concerned departments but in vain. All our requests are falling on deaf ears. You are our last day of hope. I expected that you will understand the gravity of the problem. Kindly provide some space in your newspaper.
Thanking you
your sincerely
