Robert had few medicines at home and he selected streptomycin antibiotic to lower his fever. Even after 4 days, the fever persisted. This is because bacterial antibiotics are uncapable to cure viral diseases. Streptomycin is a biochemical secretion from the Streptomyces sp. bacteria. He should take a viral antibiotic prescribed by a qualified doctor to cure himself. If he does not immediately intake the correct amount of dose of viral antibiotic needed to cure influenza, it may prove fatal for him.
