Built in 1769, the Robert Frost Stone House opened as a museum in 2002 to honor the poet who lived here from 1920 to 1929. While living here, Frost composed many of the poems included in his first Pulitzer Prize-winning volume Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.
