Robert's father is 4 times as old as Robert. After 5 years,father will be three times as old as Robert . Find Robert's age​

Let present age of Robert be 'x' then age of Roberts father = 4x ....(1)

and after 5 years.

Roberts age = x+5

Roberts father age = 3(x+5)

then 4x+5=3(x+5)

4x+5=3x+15

[x=10]

Hence, present age of Robert is 10 years & age of Robert's father is 40 years [Final ans].
