Let robin's father's age be x
Ratio of their present age= x:x-25
Ratio of their ages after ten years = x+10:x-25+10
=x+10:x-15
x+10:x-15=1:2
Then make the ratios equal
x+10=2x-30
x+10+30=2x
40=x
Robin's father is 40 and Robin is 15
