What is Body Mass Index ?

Body Mass Index ( BMI ) is a method to estimate your weight status by dividing your weight in kilograms by the square of your height in meters.

-----> BMI = Kg/m^2

If BMI of a person is more than 25 then he is considered overweight.

If BMI is less than 18.5 then the person is undernourished.

Calculating Rohan's BMI :-

weight= 70 kg

height = 1.4 m

square of height = 1.96 m

Rohan's BMI = 70/1.96 = 15.3

Therefore Rohan is undernourished because his BMI is less than 18.5.
