Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total price : 180000

Share ratio :3:5

Profit :25% : 45000

Step by step

Total ratio parts: 3+5=8

Each part ratio share of profit : 45000/8= 5625

Now both profit seperately : 3x5625 : 5x5625

Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :-

The value of a plot bought by Rohit and Romil = Rs. 1,80,000

The ratio of their investments = 3:5

Profit percentage on it = 25%

We know that

Selling Price = [(100+g)/100]×CP

=> SP = [(100+25)/100]×180000

=> SP = (125/100)×180000

=> SP = 125×1800

=> SP = Rs. 225000

Selling Price of the plot = Rs. 225000

We know that

Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

=> Profit = 225000 - 180000

=> Profit = Rs.45000

They will get the profit according to their investments.

The ratio of their investments = 3:5

Let they be Rs. 3X and Rs. 5X

The investment of Rohit = Rs. 3X

=> Profit got by Rohit = Rs. 3X

The investment of Romil = Rs. 5X

=> profit got by Romil = Rs. 5X

Total amount invested by both of them

= 3X + 5X

= Rs. 8X

Total profit = Rs. 8X

Profit got by Rohit = (3X/8X) × 45000

= (3/8)×45000

= 3×5625

= Rs. 16875

The profit got by Romil = (5X/8X)×45000

= (5/8)×45000

= 5×5625

= Rs. 28125

Answer:-

The profits got by each of them are Rs. 16875 and Rs. 28125

Used formulae:-

→Selling Price = [(100+g)/100]×CP

→Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

  • CP = cost price
  • SP = selling price
  • g = gain or profit
