his sister ritu's share 1-4/7= 3/7 .

Rohit ate more

and by how much = 4/7 - 3/7 = 1/7

or you can do it by other way

Rohit ate 4/7 part so total parts were 7 and Rohit had 4 parts

so remaining = 7-4 = 3 for her sister Ritu

from here also we can say that Rohit ate more

Rohit share - his sister share

==> 4-3 = 1 1 extra share from his sister
