Given :

  • Rohit income is 10% more than Rahul income .

To find :

  • what percent of Rahul income is less than Rohit income

Solution :

Let Rahul income be 100, then

Rohit income would be 110. Rahul income is 10 less than rohit income.

Let this percentage be x.

So,

: 10 : 110 : : x : 100

x = 10 x 100/110

x = 1 x 100/11

x = 9.09

Thus, rahul income is 9.09% less than Rohit income.

Extra information :

  • Gain = SP - CP

  • loss = CP - SP

  • Gain % = gain x 100/CP

  • Loss % = loss x 100/CP

  • SP = (100 + gain %) x CP/100

  • CP = (100 - loss%) x CP/100

  • Discount % = Discount x 100/market price

Answer:

Let Rahul's Income be 100.

Rohit's Income will be :

:\implies\sf Rohit=Rahul \times (100+More)\%\\\\\\:\implies\sf Rohit = 100 \times (100 + 10)\%\\\\\\:\implies\sf Rohit = 100 \times\dfrac{110}{100}\\\\\\:\implies\sf Rohit = 110

\rule{180}{1.5}

Rahul Income is Less than Rohit :

:\implies\sf Less\%=\dfrac{Rohit-Rahul}{Rohit} \times 100\\\\\\:\implies\sf Less\%= \dfrac{110 - 100}{110} \times 100\\\\\\:\implies\sf Less\%= \dfrac{10}{110} \times 100\\\\\\:\implies\sf Less\%= \dfrac{100}{11} \\\\\\:\implies\underline{\boxed{\sf Less\%=9{}^{1}\!/{}_{11}\%}}
