rohit took four test tubes containing solution of zinc sulphate, aluminum sulphate, copper sulphate and iron sulphate. he immersed an iron nail in each of the test tubes. after some time he observed that one of the nail immersed in the test tube had a reddish brown coating.

Zinc metal displaces copper from copper sulphate .

2. Copper(Cu) +Zinc sulphate (Zn SO 4 )No displacement.

Similarly, Iron metal displaces copper metal from copper sulphate solution because iron is more

reactive than copper.
