Nghe An and Ha Tinh were the two provinces which is known as 'electrical fuses'. In Feb 1930, Ho Chi Minh brought together competing nationalist groups to establish the Vietnamese Communist. Ho Chi Minh and communists took power in North while Bao Dai's regime was put in power in South. Vietnam into battle brought death and distraction to the people and environment. Ngo Dinh Diem dictatorial rule came to opposed by NLF.
With the help of Ho Chi Minh government in North, the NLF fought for unification of the country.
