According to the act 14 of Indian constitution,

  • The judiciary should ensure equal rights are provided to the workers and equality is maintained in the work place.
  • The judiciary should ensure the right of the workers to sue and to be sued by others.
  • The judiciary also should encourage prosecute and be prosecuted.
  • The judiciary should make sure that there is no differences among the workers.
  • They should make sure that the workers enjoy their right.

According to the Indian Constitution, every citizen of the country should be treated equally, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, status, gender etc.

The judiciary, thus, plays a great role in safeguarding the rights of the workmen or the employees or laborers in any field of work.

They are given equal rights like any other member of the society and law and order is same for them like it is for others.
