Answer:

Role of nucleus in development:

The nucleus maintains the integrity of genes and controls the activities of the cell by regulating gene expression—the nucleus is, therefore, the control center of the cell.

Role of cytoplasm in development:

Cytoplasmic determinants are special molecules which play a very important role during oocyte maturation, in the female's ovary. During this period of time, some regions of the cytoplasm accumulate some of these cytoplasmic determinants, whose distribution is thus very heterogenic. They play a major role in the development of the embryo's organs. Each type of cell is determined by a particular determinant or group of determinants. Thus, all the organs of the future embryo are distributed and operating well thanks to the right position of the cytoplasmic determinants.

Question:

Role of nucleus and cytoplasm in development.

Concept:

Role of nucleus and cytoplasm in development of an organism.

Answer and explanation:

Role of nucleus in development:

Nucleus is considered to be the brain of cell. Neucleus carries DNA, gene, chromosomes which are genetic materials.

Nucleus maintains the integrity of genes and controls the activities of the cell by regulating gene expression—It also could be considered to be control center of the cell.

Neucleus contains the most important elements which are responsible for all characters of an organism, therefore necessary for devoloping of an organism.

Role of cytoplasm in development:

Cytoplasm play a very important role during oocyte maturation, in the female's ovary. During this period of, some regions of the cytoplasm accumulate some of the cytoplasmic determinants. They play a major role in the development of the embryo's organs. Each type of cell is determined by a particular organizer or organizers. .Thus, all the organs of the future embryo get determined.

Also generally many important cellular pathway (glycolysis) and functions occurs in cytoplam.

Thus in this way cytoplsam play a very important role in organism development.
