They wote books, pamphlets which flooded all round the towns. In those books, the philosophers wrote about ideas encouraging people to fight for their rights. These pamphlets were read to the people in saloons so that people who did not know how to read were able to listen and then   understand. These books were highly discussed in coffe shops, saloons.
