The scrotum provides favourable condition for the production of sperms.

It is present below the abdominal cavity and is present outside the body as the production of sperms requires lower temperature than that of the body.

Hence, scrotum plays a major role in producing sperms

It is a sac consist of loose pouch of skin ,muscle and connective tissue. The scrotum act as a thermaoregulator and maintain testes at a temperature 2 centigrade lower than the body temparature. The lower temparature is required for normal sperm production.
