In passing a certain bill the standing committee plays a quite significant role.  The law is first sent to the presiding officer of the Senate . From there the draft bill is let out.  Afterwards the draft bill is sent to the house of representatives. The clerk in the house of representatives approves the draft bill and the main bill is effectively generated by the house itself. Then this bill Is finally sent to the concerned standing committee for the committee to sign so that the bill may be passed.
