sometimes count for about 15 seconds and multiply it by 4. There is no "magic number" 2 or 3 it all comes down to personal preference, however some people find that using 3 fingers helps them find the pulse faster because they are covering a larger area of the wrist.

Radial pulse: located on the lateral of the wrist (radial artery). It can also be found in the anatomical snuff box. Ulnar pulse: located on the medial of the wrist (ulnar artery).
