Role of water and minerals in plants
Answers
Answer:
Plants need water and minerals for various reasons as like us they are also a living thing. Plants need these for their healthy growth ,to maintain the osmotic balance of their body and for the food making process called photosynthesis etc. Water and minerals are transported to different parts of the plant body through the vascular tissue called xylem while food is transferred through phloem.
