Rs. 3956

Given:

Cost Price of a Geyser = Rs. 3680

Gain % = 7 1/2 %

Converting the mixed fraction:

= 7 x 2 + 1 / 2

= 15 / 2 %

To Find:

Selling Price of the Geyser.

Calculating:

Formula used to calculate the selling price:

(100 + gain %)/100 × Cost Price

Substituting all the values known to us in this formula we get:

= (100 + 15/2) /100 x 3680

= 200 + 15 / 2 / 100 x 3680

= 200 + 15 / 200 x 3680

= 215 / 200 x 3680

= Rs 3956

Therefore, the selling price of the Geyser is Rupees 3956.

Ronald sells the geyser for Rs. 3956.
