a - b / √a - √ b

( \sqrt{a}  +   \sqrt{b} )( \sqrt{a}  -  \sqrt{b} ) \\  =  {( \sqrt{a} )}^{2}  -  {( \sqrt{b} )}^{2}  \\  = a - b
 \therefore \: the \:  rationalisng \: factor \: is \: ( \sqrt{a}  -  \sqrt{b} )
