So the thickly populated deltas of the Godavari, the Krishna and the Kaveri are struck by cyclones quite often. As after October the temperature falls rapidly in the northern areas. The low pressure induced by the fall in temperature move towards the Bay of Bengal. This shift results in the occurrence of cyclones.
