Correct Question :- Rs.3068 is distributed in A, B and C in such a manner that each of them is reduced to Rs.50 ,The ratio of their parts is 1: 3: 2. How much is the money received by C ?

Solution :-

→ Original amount = Rs.3068

given that, Rs. 50 is reduced from each parts .

so,

→ Total amount reduced = 3 * 50 = Rs.150 .

then,

→ Amount left to be distributed = 3068 - 150 = Rs.2918 .

Now, let us assume that, parts of A , B and C are Rs.x , Rs.3x and Rs.2x respectively .

therefore,

→ x + 3x + 2x = 2918

→ 6x = 2918

→ x = 486.34 .

hence,

→ Recieved by C = 2x + 50 = 2(486.34) + 50 = Rs.1022.68 (Ans.)
