Given - Cloth length

Find - Cloth left

Solution - The amount of cloth left is = Amount of cloth - amount of cloth cut

Convert the total amount of cloth in metres -

100 cm = 1 m

50 cm = 1*50/100

Performing division

50 cm = 0.5 m

Total amount of cloth = 18 + 0.5

Performing addition

Total amount of cloth = 18.5 m

Keep the values in formula to find the amount of cloth left.

Amount of cloth left = 18.5 - 5.8

Performing subtraction

Amount of cloth left = 12.7 m

Hence, amount of cloth left with her is 12.7 m.
