Answer

Speeches are talks we all have given at various points of out life. Here, there are not rules to follow but only guidelines.

Generally, I would'nt reccomend to write it down as a paragraph, but instead take down points and understand the concept.

Guidelines for writting a speech

→ Start with a Greeting to the audience, then explain your self.

→ Make points related to the topic, instead of a long paragraph.

→ Make sure you take it down in the correct order.

→ The order for a speech is Introduction, Body and finally, conclusion.

You can start your speech with a quote related to the topic if you wish.

→ The body must be alligned in a way that General info. is first, advantages second and disadvantages third.

→ The conclusion should contain preventive measures, what can be done to improve the situation.

→ End the speech by saying a Thank You.

Guidelines while drafting a Speech

→ As said before, give a warm welcome to the audience, introduce yourself in a sweet and short manner and name the topic you are talking about.

→ Start the speech in a very light way, dont tell deep information about it, but give a basic introduction about the topic to make the audience aware of what you are talking.

→ Maintain eye-contact with the audience instead of looking at anything else.

→  Have expressions on your face. Have some body-signals, movements so the audience are active and are listening to you.

→ Include real-life examples in your speech and interesting information that is worth keeping in mind.

→ Make sure you do not repeat the same point over again.

→ Draft your speech in such a way that it leaves an impact on the audience for a good change.

→ Stress on your conclusion, to top of the speech with a high note.
