"Face in the Dark is a thriller story by Ruskin Bond. In this story, you will find elements of surprise, shock, fear, thrill and suspense.

Let me highlight two of them:

1.    Shock- When Mr Oliver stumbles upon a boy and the watchman who have no ears, eyes, nose or mouth. It also evokes a sense of fear.

2.    Fear- While Mr Oliver was walking, he was disturbed by the eerie sound of the Palm trees on the way.

In the end, we can say that Mr Oliver used to teach students and might be fascinated by some stories because of which he imagined this."
