RUSTING IS AN OXIDATION REACTION ....

IT USUALLY TAKE PLACE WHEN A METALIC SURFACE COME IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH AIR , VAPOURS AND SUNLIGHT ....FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME .

ITS A SLOW CHANGE AND IT CAN'T BE REVERSED ,SO WE CAN SAY THAT ITS AN IRREVERSIBLE CHANGE.
