The magnetic fields would also come very close which is not possible. If magnetic field lines intersect each other then the magnetic field (magnetic field lines) will have two different directions at that point. ... Because they basically represent the direction of force acting on a point unit north pole. hope it helped ;)

Two magnetic lines cannot Intersect each other as if they will Intersect , the magnetic compass would point in two different direction at that point of intersection, which is not possible.
