Principal Amount:- RS. 2000

Rate:- 4%

Let the interest on principal RS. 2000 be x rupees.

x/2000=4/100

x= 4/100 x  2000

x=80

Interest of 1yr= RS. 80

Interrest of 5yrs= 80 x 5

                          =  RS. 400

Amount earned= Principal Amount +  Interest

                          = RS. 2000 +  RS. 400

                           = RS. 2400
