ANSWER

S.No Property Solid Liquid Gases

1. Shape They have a definite shape They do not have a definite shape They do not have a definite shape

2. Volume They have a definite volume They do not have a definite volume They do not have a definite volume

3. Density They have high-density Liquids have less density than solids Gases have the least density

4. The kinetic energy of particles Least More than solids Maximum

5. Compressibility Negligible Low High

Rigidity: It is the property of matter to resist the change of its shape.

Compressibility: It is the property of matter in which its volume is decreased by applying force.

Fluidity: Matter can flow.

Filled a gas container: On filling, a gas takes the shape of the container.

Shape: Having definite boundaries.

Kinetic energy: It is the energy possessed by the particles of matter due to its motion.

Density: It is the ratio of mass with per unit volume......

Answer:

Solid :- It has a fixed shape , volume , it occupies space , it cannot be compressed nor it can flow , it is very rigid and cannot get diffused and having strong intermolecular forces between them and very small spaces between the molecules .

Liquid :- It has a fixed volume but no fixed shape but takes the shape of its container , it also have mass ,can be slightly compressed ,and can flow from higher to Lowe level ,it is not as rigid as solid but can diffuse and intermolecular force is also not so strong as solid but strong from gas and spaces between molecules are larger than solid but smaller than gas .

Gas :- It has no definite volume or shape but can be compressed and flow in any direction and is not at all rigid but can get diffused and intermolecular force is least in them but spaces are very large.
