to find: ∠BAC and ∠CAS

now, PQ ║ RS and BA is transversal

so, ∠BAS = ∠ABC                    by alternate interior angles

and ∠ACB = 50°

∴∠BAC + ∠ACB + ∠ABC = 180°

= ∠BAC + 50° + 90° = 180°

= ∠BAC + 140° = 180°

= ∠BAC = 180° - 140°

= ∠BAC = 40°

∵∠BAC = 40° and ∠BAS = 90°

so, ∠CAS = ∠BAC + ∠BAS

  = ∠CAS = 40° + 90°

  = ∠CAS = 130°
