Adolescence is the transitional phase of growth and development between childhood and adulthood. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines an adolescent as any person between ages 10 and 19.

According to Cambridge Dictionary, Adolescent means:-

a young person who is developing into an adult

Adolescence is the period of transition between childhood & adulthood. Children who are entering adolescence are growing through many changes like Physical, intellectual, personality and social development. Adolescence beings at puberty . which now occurs earlier, on average than in the past .
