Answer:

                                           The Apple

Jack was what one would call the ideal citizen. He was honest, kind, polite and basically a pleasure to be around. But he was best known for his sincerity and obedience. Everyone loved Jack. Although, unbeknownst to anyone, Jack was a very lonely child. His peers considered him a very haughty person and didn't like his sincerity. This made him feel very despondent. So one day, he resolved to make some friends. Unfortunately for him though, every one turned him away. Except for one group of children. They were the naughty kids of the class, but they were his only hope. Soon, he became their friend and got into lots of trouble with them. When his parents found out, they were aghast. Their child was in trouble? This infuriated Jack's father. To teach him a lesson, he gave Jack a basket of apples and told him to keep it in his room for a few days. Jack was quite puzzled, but obeyed. What Jack didn't know though, was that their was a rotten apple amongst the other apples. Days passed, and when Jack gave the basket back to his father, he was stunned to find that the apples were all rotten. To ease his son's angst, and to teach him the lesson he wanted to, Jack's father told him about the rotten apple and how just one apple, could affect and spoil all the other apples. Jack realized how bad company can spoil him and was very glad that he learned from his mistake early on.

Moral of the story: Beware of the company you are with. What one surrounds oneself with, they become that.
