Most of the countries are having different type of governments for better governance and control over the territory.
In India we are having three types of governments union government , state government and local body government.
The central government is is also known as union government and they have a fixed list of their responsibilities. Like Indian government is having power for administration of defence ,scientific research, external affairs, railway, aviation, external trade and revenue from GST and income tax. There are many departments which are exclusively allotted to the central government by the Indian constitution.
The country is divided in many states for better administration and welfare of people.The responsibilities of state government are law and order situation, health, education, land revenue, House tax, local transport. State government is having many other types of delegated power from the constitution of India.
The local government or it is called Panchayat Raj is a system for better administration and welfare of people in rural and urban areas 4 the benefit of people like water supply, sanitation, agriculture goods market, animal husbandry, health and other social activities.
The division of the division of power and responsibilities provides better administration control and better execution of planning.
The division of power and responsibility results to better control and execution of welfare works at different level of government.
